Directions to High Watch Recovery Center
*DETOUR ANNOUNCEMENT:
Please note that Brick School Road, connecting to Carter Road, will be closed soon due to construction. We recommend you enter via Route 7.
*When Using GPS:
Please note when entering our address into your GPS to use Kent Township as the town rather than Kent.
There are two Carter Roads, when approaching High Watch via Route 341 please disregard Carter Road and make a right turn on Brick School Road (Next road after Carter). Brick School Road will become Carter Road.
From Hartford & East:
- I-84 West to Exit 39B (Route 4/Farmington)
- CT Route 4 West to CT-118 West/Litchfield Road
- CT-118 West to US 202 West/West Street
- US 202 West to CT-341 West
- CT-341 West to Right Turn on Brick School Road
- Continue Straight to Carter Road, High Watch Will be on your left
From Central & Southern CT:
- Pick up Route 8 north anywhere from Bridgeport to Waterbury
- Route 8 north to Route 4 in Torrington
- Route 4 west to Route 7 in Cornwall Bridge
- Route 7 south 4.5 miles to Carter road on left
From Fairfield County:
- Take Route 8 north and see previous set of directions or
- Route 7 north from Norwalk
- Follow 7 all the way to center of Kent (monument)
- Continue 4.5 miles north on 7 to Carter Road on right
From NYC and Westchester County:
- I-684 north to Route 22 in Brewster
- Route 22 to Route 55 east in Webatuck
- Route 55 across Connecticut line to Route 7- go left
- Route 7 to center of Kent (monument)
- Continue 4.5 miles north to Carter Road on right
From Rhode Island:
- I-95 south/west into Connecticut to Route 9 in Old Saybrook
- Route 9 north to New Britain and Route 72
- Route 72 west toward Bristol
- 72 to Route 6 in Terryville/Plymouth
- Left on 6 west to Route 8 north in Thomaston
- Follow 2nd set of directions
From Central Massachusetts:
- I-90 (Mass Pike) west to Lee, MA (Exit 2 off Mass Pike)
- 102 west turns into Route 7 south
- Route 7 south into Connecticut
- Route 7 for an additional 4.5 miles past the intersection of Route 4 & Route 7 which is in Cornwall Bridge
- Carter Road is on the left
From Tappan Zee Bridge:
- 287 to 684 north/east
- Follow previous set of directions
